Fiery unveils end-to-end print-room portfolio at PRINTING United 2026

Fiery arrived at PRINTING United 2026 in Las Vegas with a message as much as a product slate: it wants to be the one-stop engine for every corner of the digital print room. The catalyst is its recent acquisition of Inèdit Software, which added industry-leading textile printing solutions to a portfolio already spanning commercial print, large format, industrial inkjet, direct-to-film and direct-to-garment. The result, Fiery argues, is a single vendor that can unlock strong results from the widest range of print applications a provider is likely to run.

The throughline of the launch is centralized workflow, increasingly powered by AI. Fiery FS800 Pro — described as the company’s most advanced system software platform yet — introduces AI-powered object-level editing on RIPed files, advanced spot color management, enhanced estimation tools for “maximum print intelligence” and alignment with the latest IT requirements. Command WorkStation 7.3 refreshes the centralized job-management interface with a customizable layout, object-level color editing and AI-driven job intake, so operators complete jobs faster and more autonomously with fewer productivity barriers. And Fiery JobFlow Pro, a Pinnacle Award-winning AI-assisted automation tool, analyzes job content and automatically applies the right workflows, settings and templates — helping operators of any skill level automate complex production.

Color control gets its own push. Fiery ColorGuard, also Pinnacle-recognized, now supports Fiery XF-driven printers, extending the same color-control functionality to large format and making ColorGuard the central color solution for the whole print room. Digital Factory 12, built on Fiery color technology, targets DTF with visual production tools and a modular layout to get the brightest specialty colors, from custom garments to UV applications. The theme is consistency: one color science, many applications, one place to govern it.

Variable data and textiles round out the story. Fiery FreeForm Create 2.5, the latest free VDP software, refreshes the experience and adds design flexibility to make variable-data work easier and more efficient. On textile, neoStampa delivers image processing, color management and profiling for consistent results, and together with neoTextil, neoCatalog and neoMatch forms a complete textile ecosystem for design, sales, color matching and workflow automation — the Inèdit inheritance made explicit. Visitors can also see Fiery XF 9, Fiery Impress and Fiery Scribe at booth C1449.

John Henze, vice president of sales and marketing at Fiery, tied the pieces together: print providers feel rising pressure to diversify — customized apparel, signage, specialty UV — and Fiery works to make that diversification “as easy as possible,” not just in commercial print but in large format, industrial inkjet, DTF/DTG and now textiles. The acquisition of Inèdit is the hinge: it converts Fiery from a commercial-and-large-format workflow leader into a cross-application print-room platform, reducing the number of vendors a provider must integrate, train and trust.

The strategic context is the fragmentation of the print business. A shop that once printed only commercial jobs now commonly runs wide format, DTG/DTF, UV and, increasingly, textile, often on separate RIPs and color systems that barely talk. Fiery’s bet is that providers will pay for convergence — one workflow, one color engine, one job interface — especially when AI can absorb the routine decisions that otherwise need skilled operators. In a labor-tight market, “fewer barriers to productivity” is not a slogan but a purchasing criterion.

For PRINTING United attendees, the showcase is a map of where the print-room software layer is heading: AI-assisted intake and automation, GPU-era color control across substrate types, and a single vendor spanning applications that used to demand four. Fiery is positioning itself as the connective tissue of a diversifying shop, and the Inèdit deal is the move that makes “every corner of the digital print room” a claim it can actually back with product rather than ambition.

This development arrives as the global printing and packaging industry navigates a period of simultaneous consolidation and specialization, where the ability to add a credible new capability — whether a sustainable substrate, a productivity tool or a diversified technology — increasingly separates the shops and suppliers that grow from those that merely hold market share. The companies and associations moving decisively now are positioning themselves to capture demand that will only intensify as regulations tighten and customers professionalize their own supply chains.

Looking ahead, the practical implication for print service providers and converters is that incremental improvement is no longer sufficient; the market rewards those who treat capability, sustainability and workflow as connected investments rather than separate line items. Whether the trigger is a new material, a new press or a new software layer, the winners tend to be the organizations that integrate the change into how they sell, produce and account for work.
