ABG Reports Strong Sales and Growing FlexPack Momentum at Loupe Americas 2026

A B Graphic International (ABG) has reported a highly successful Loupe Americas 2026, with strong visitor numbers, significant interest in flexible packaging and RFID, and multiple machine sales completed during the show. The results underline how finishing and converting suppliers are capturing value as label and packaging printers diversify.

Exhibiting one of the largest machinery line-ups at the event, ABG used its presence to demonstrate the breadth of its capabilities across labels, flexible packaging, RFID, embellishment and inspection. The scale of the stand drew consistently high visitor numbers, with particular attention on ABG’s growing FlexPack proposition and PouchJet, which lets converters add in-line embellishment to pouch production.

RFID was another major area of interest, reflecting the technology’s rising importance across the label and packaging market. ABG demonstrated products ranging from the entry-level ti200 to a sophisticated non-stop converting line incorporating ASU and Vectra technology alongside Tamarack modules. Both generated substantial enquiries and follow-up opportunities, showing demand for scalable RFID that grows with converters’ requirements.

The show’s commercial success extended beyond conversations. Several machine sales were completed on the floor, including a Vectra AutoSet, DigiLite, a Wine Specification Digicon Series 3, and an SR seaming machine. These deals illustrate that ABG’s broad portfolio translates directly into orders when buyers can see the full range in one place.

Matt Burton, ABG’s global sales director, said Loupe gave the company the opportunity to show itself at its best. “We brought together an exceptional range of technology, backed by our global team and the expertise of our four manufacturing sites, and the response throughout the show was fantastic,” he said. FlexPack was a particular highlight, with PouchJet attracting significant attention, while RFID was another standout area. Being able to demonstrate everything from an accessible entry-level solution to a highly sophisticated non-stop line allowed customers to see the breadth of what ABG offers.

The event also highlighted the strength of ABG’s North American operation. Its US-based team of around 45 people provides local sales and service support, and strong attendance from existing customers and new prospects confirmed the value of having that capability on the ground. ABG’s partnerships with specialists including Tamarack, Voyantic and Galaxy PackTech further demonstrated how complementary technologies and engineering expertise combine into advanced, integrated solutions.

Burton concluded that Loupe showcased ABG as a global business, with its people, manufacturing sites and technology partners working together to deliver exceptional solutions for converters. The emphasis on integration – linking inspection, embellishment, RFID and finishing – is increasingly what converters ask for as they move beyond single-machine purchases toward complete production ecosystems.

For ABG, the takeaway is that investment in a wide, demonstrable product range pays off at regional shows where decision-makers can compare options side by side. FlexPack and RFID, two of the fastest-moving segments in labelling, are now central to that story, and the machine sales logged at Loupe Americas 2026 suggest the strategy is converting interest into revenue.

The North American market has become a focal point for finishing and converting suppliers because it combines high labour costs with strong brand and private-label packaging demand. Converters there are under pressure to automate and add value without expanding headcount, exactly the problems ABG’s FlexPack and RFID propositions address. By showing a complete line – from unwind to embellished, RFID-enabled, finished product – ABG positions itself as a single-source partner rather than a point-solution vendor.

The RFID momentum is especially notable. As retailers and regulators push for item-level traceability, label and packaging converters are being pulled into the RFID value chain whether they planned to or not. ABG’s ability to demonstrate entry-level and sophisticated RFID lines side by side gives converters a scalable on-ramp: start with the ti200, grow into non-stop ASU and Vectra lines as volumes justify. That graduated approach reduces the perceived risk of adoption and aligns with how most converters actually invest – incrementally, after proven demand.

FlexPack, similarly, meets converters where they are. PouchJet’s in-line embellishment removes a post-print step and lets label printers branch into pouches without standing up a separate laminating and finishing cell. For a converter already running ABG finishing, the marginal effort to enter flexible packaging is far lower than for a greenfield competitor. That is the strategic logic behind ABG’s Loupe Americas push, and the machine sales logged on the floor suggest the message landed.

The broader signal from Loupe Americas 2026 is that finishing suppliers are no longer selling machines in isolation. The winners on the floor were those who presented an integrated story – inspection feeding embellishment feeding RFID feeding finishing – that mirrors how converters actually run a job. ABG’s ability to demonstrate that continuity, supported by four manufacturing sites and specialist partners, is what turned foot traffic into signed orders. For the rest of the industry, the lesson is that capability breadth, shown live, beats a longer spec sheet every time.
